A fantastic opportunity has opened at our Kingston University International Study Centre for a Chemistry and Physics Tutor to join the team. We are looking for a passionate Tutor with the skills to give our students an interactive, creative, and innovative learning experience. A student centred approach is key in our lessons, and as a facilitator of this, you will have a flexibility and autonomy that is rarely given to teacher and Academics.

Kingston International Study Centre

This specific role is based at our Kingston Study Centre which is a high achieving, fast paced, and forward thinking centre, that is a part of the Study Group network. Based in the centre of the beautiful Kingston University campus, the centre offers excellent modern facilities, and is only a short commute from London.

So what would your responsibilities be?

In this role you would be expected to deliver modules through high quality teaching to international students studying on programmes offered by the Centre, as well as assisting with the development of modules. As well as this, you would also be preparing module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment, marking and providing feedback to students including re-sit examinations.

What are we looking for?

  • Teaching experience in Chemistry and Physics within an either FE or UK higher education context
  • A recognised teacher status qualification (Desirable)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area and preferably a minimum of a Master’s degree
  • Fluent spoken and written English
