Schools 14-16 Personal Coach

The Schools 14-16 Personal Coach is a specialist pastoral role supporting pre-16 students with complex and challenging social, emotional and behavioural needs; to build emotional resilience, raise aspirations and support robust transition to further learning, employment or training.

They will provide a holistic, personalised approach to personal development, engagement and inclusion, supporting teaching and learning and successful transition. They will ensure smooth day to day running of 14-16 provision at College working to the Pastoral Coordinator and will manage a caseload of students.

The Schools 14-16 Personal Coach will be the daily key contact for all external facing work to support the success of the student; this includes parents and carers, schools, other specialist educational providers, specialist agencies and local authorities. The Personal Coach will take a pivotal role in ensuring safeguarding protocols are adhered to.
