A fantastic opportunity has opened at our Sheffield International Study Centre to join the fantastic Professional Services Team that plays a pivotal role in the centre. This is a maternity cover contract and a chance to learn new skills in a varied role that offers the opportunity to work on many different tasks across Academic Education.

Who are we looking for?
We are excited to speak with experienced Administrators that are comfortable managing complex workloads, and have done this in a fast paced environment. If you have experience of working in Education then that is a huge bonus, yet it’s not essential. See below some of the qualities that you will need to be successful in this role:

What does this role involve?
The purpose of the role is to coordinate the specific activities that have cross-over between the Student Support team and the Curriculum team, to ensure proactive monitoring of the student’s journey, experience and progression. The role will also provide extra resource at Coordinator level to the Student Support team in critical areas such as: student attendance, welfare and disciplinary matters. Successful coordination will involve liaising with the Student Outcomes Leader, the relevant members of the Student Support team responsible for operational management of the aforementioned areas, and teaching staff to carryout timely student intervention in line with the College’s policies and processes. Also, you will provide an effective and efficient level of cross-curriculum administration/secretarial support for some members of the wider College management team.
