The post of Curriculum Development Fellow – Computing is a new fixed term position within the University of the Highlands and Islands. This post is funded by the European Social Fund and Scottish Funding Council as part of Developing Scotland’s Workforce in the Scotland 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programme.

Inverness College UHI seeks a motivated individual to support curriculum developments across its computing programmes.

The Curriculum Development Fellow will work with experienced staff from the University’s Educational Development Unit to design and develop new curriculum products. This support will include:

  • Input to the design of the new programme, ensuring it is aligned with the UHI Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy;
  • Support for the programme team and other stakeholders to write and develop the new courses in accordance with the agreed delivery model including required digital resources and technologies;
  • Provision of appropriate staff development as required to support the delivery model;
  • Identification of examples of good practice from each project for future use through appropriate evaluation.
