Warehouse Operative Apprentice (L2)

Apprenticeship level: Intermediate

Apprenticeship duration: 12 months

Possible start date: 19th March 2018

Working week: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 2.00pm, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Locating stock, including the traceability of
• Picking & packing product in line with customer requirements
• Despatching product

Any other duties deemed reasonable, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and level of responsibility.

• Assistance in kitting to customer requirements
• Assistance with goods receiving
• Stocktaking

Desired skills:

• Capable of working as part of a team
• Use of word & excel
• IT Illiterate
• Good numerical skills

Although it’s not needed, the ideal apprentice will have an advantage over others if they have possession of a Forklift Truck Licence (reach, counterbalance or man up).

Qualifications required:

• GCSE or equivalent English and Maths grade D or above

Training provider:

• Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required. You will be working towards a Warehousing standard qualification. An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week
