HR Advisor

North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College are looking to appoint a talented HR Advisor who will be able to work on their own initiative to provide dedicated HR advice and support across the College.

The post holder will be required to utilise their skills and HR knowledge across a range of responsibilities, providing expert and professional advice to managers on people management matters to include attendance, performance, conduct, grievance and bullying and harassment issues and change management. You should be experienced in the use of HR systems and be able to translate workforce information into agreed actions. 

To succeed in this role you will have experience of working in a generalist role as well as the ability to work to deadlines in a busy and demanding environment. Suitable candidates will require ‘a can do approach’ with a strong customer focus to support the development and delivery of HR services.

Applicants will be expected to have relevant qualification in Human Resources supplemented by comprehensive generalist HR experience. You should also have a thorough understanding of employee relations and their practical application and a good knowledge and understanding of employment law. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential together with experience of providing HR Customer solutions.
