Hartlepool Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Rugby Coach with Academy Coaching responsibilities to join our highly successful team. We are looking for individual(s) who are supportive, creative and innovative with excellent interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of current teaching and learning strategies and the ability to support the continued growth and diversification of Sport and Exercise provision at the college. We are also looking for someone with proven experience of coaching at performance/elite level to contribute to our nationally acclaimed Rugby Academy.

The successful candidate should have achieved a degree or equivalent in Sport and hold a recognised teaching qualification. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record as a coach and be qualified to a minimum of RFU Level 2.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of outstanding teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance. Previous experience in the sport, exercise and health industry and/or additional sport and exercise related qualifications would be advantageous.

You will be based at Hartlepool Sixth Form College, in our award winning building fully equipped with a Sports Hall, Strength and Conditioning Suite and expansive on site playing fields.

Hartlepool Sixth Form College are also hiring for a Lecturer in Sport. We will consider consolidating the two positions for successful applicants who can demonstrate all lecturing and rugby coaching criteria.
