Stockport College is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Mathematics. Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification
  • Observation grade 1 or 2, achieved in the last 12 months
  • Willingness to teach Functional Skills and GCSE Maths
  • Innovative and flexible approach to supporting reluctant learners
  • The ability to engage learners from vocational areas in Maths through contextualised, meaningful activities

With a proven track record of working with younger learners from a variety of backgrounds, you should also be able to demonstrate the high quality of your teaching and have achieved an Observation grade 1 or 2, in the last 12 months.
