Hourly Paid Lecturer in Employability

We are seeking to appoint an adaptable and self-motivated individual to the role of Hourly Paid Lecturer in Employability. 

The successful candidate will be part of the team working to support the delivery of ICT & Digital programmes and Level 1 Health & Social Care programmes for the Sector-based work academies, which are a way to create a skilled workforce for your business.

As part of the role you will contribute to the organisation and delivery of existing programs but more specifically will develop and manage the introduction of curriculum innovation and recruitment of students within the department.  Along with excellent communication and presentation skills, a high degree of personal motivation and commitment are essential to the success of this post.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a degree level qualification
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or be expected to achieve within a set period from the date of appointment
  • Hold Assessor and Verifier qualifications (desirable)
  • Hold GCSE English & maths (A*-C)
