Work Based Learning Assessor - Motor Vehicle

We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced hourly paid assessors to visit our work based learning apprentices on our Apprenticeships at Levels 2 and 3.

The role provides advice and support to employers and candidates in the selection of NVQ units and levels, as well as guiding and supporting candidates as to the required evidence needed.  You will also be required to assess/verify candidates and provide feedback both at college and at their place of work. You will liaise with other verifiers/assessors and other professionals as well as attending meetings to discuss assessments processes and achievements.  You will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring evidence gathering and ensuring recording of evidence on the college system (training will be given).

The successful candidate should demonstrate a flexible 'can do' approach and willingness to work outside of normal working hours along with travelling between college sites and to the various employer locations in order to fulfil the above duties.
