Fixed term until 20th June 2018
Based in the Foundation Learning area, you will be working 1:1 with a student who is accessing the College on a bespoke programme, in Horticulture/ Conservation, within the area of the Foundation land-based course. The successful candidate will work on the teaching of Horticulture/Conservation activities, including supporting the building a portfolio of work, using pictures as well as written handouts and ICT. The programme will be teacher led, under the guidance of the Curriculum Leader and the Head of Faculty for Foundation.
The working pattern will be 9.00 am – 4.30 pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Experience in LDD delivery is essential, with a proven ability to communicate, to learners, some of whom are on the Autistic spectrum.
Qualified in a relevant subject area, candidates will have previous experience teaching learners with complex needs.
The role will be based at the Sparsholt campus.
