Temporary position until June 2018 – variable hours
Grade: Casual Learning Support Assistant rate: £9.44 per hour
Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants who will be responsible for assisting the tutor in the provision individual and group support for students with additional learning needs.
The successful candidate will have Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy, PTLLS or equivalent Level 3 qualification in supporting in the classroom (or to work towards within 1 year).
Applicants will also have experience of helping and supporting young people and adults in an 11+ educational environment.
