Community Administrator (0.5FTE)

This is an opportunity to play a key administrative role in maintaining and developing the College's high profile within the local community. You will have a designated area and be responsible for ensuring all community groups are fully aware of the educational and training opportunities offered by the College.

The ideal candidate will have had experience of working within a community setting and of supporting the development of project work within an education environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with groups of people within community settings is essential. You will also have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to work to deadlines. Due to the community-based nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to a car on a daily basis is essential.

The successful candidate will be working 17.5 hours/week, the actual days and hours are negotiable, dependent on the needs of the community provision and the availability of the candidate. It is likely that the working pattern will not require a start time before 9.15am and could end by 3.00pm each day.
