We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer of Media, to join us in the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Solihull College, from January 2018. 

Possessing a degree in a media related subject, the successful candidate will teach on, and contribute to, the development of Level 2 Creative Media production. As the role will include planning, teaching, and assessing a teaching qualification teamed with excellent interpersonal skills is essential. Previous teaching experience is essential as is experience of working as a pastoral or personal tutor. 

The applicant should hold, or be working towards, a Level 5 teaching qualification. Successful candidate will provide academic and pastoral support to students and respond to challenges in a creative way and so ensuring that students are encouraged and developed to reach their full potential. An understanding of the needs and challenges of teaching a range of students is essential with a strong commitment to equal opportunities.
