The exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maternity Cover Lecturer in Maths to support the Maths and English Department to deliver high quality teaching across the vocational areas of the college.
Reaseheath College is one of the UK's leading specialist land-based colleges. With over 2000 full-time students, we have an enviable setting amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake, woodland and sports facilities. So you won't find a more inspiring place to teach. As one of the top 10% colleges in England for qualification success rates and progression into higher education or employment, you won't find a bigger commitment to student achievement either.
If you share that commitment, we need you to help support us in developing a centralised and specialised Maths and English Department to raise the standards of these essential skills across the College. You will be required to teach a mixture of GCSE and Functional skills in Maths to students from across the curriculum.
You will possess a minimum of a Degree level qualification (not necessarily in Maths) and a recognized teaching qualification.
In return, you can look forward to a great range of benefits including final salary pension scheme, free parking and the use of college facilities including our gym and Learning Resource Centre.
With an ambitious GBP 35 million capital investment programme in place, there's never been a better time to join Reaseheath College.
Please note, you must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this
Interview: Tuesday 16th January
Benefits package: CARE pension scheme, child care voucher scheme, free car parking, cycle to work scheme, on site gym membership available, free access to library and use of IT software at home.
