Instructor Mechanical Workshop Practice

We are looking to appoint an adaptable and self-motivated individual to the role of Instructor in Mechanical Workshop Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.

The role will involve the delivery of practical skills based training in the mechanical workshop on College programmes and to participate with programme teams to give guidance/advice on the practical applications of curriculum delivery.

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
• Must be competent at mechanical workshop practice such as milling and turning, CNC experience would be desirable.
• Hold A1/V1 or willingness to complete within a set period following appointment.
• Relevant industrial experience of working within Engineering and workshop environments
• Hold the Award in Education & Training or relevant teaching qualification (desirable)
