Community Learning Administrator

Location: Rotherham Town Centre Campus

37 hours per week

Fixed term until August 10th 2018

The Curriculum Administrator is a key part of the Community Learning Department, working within a team that supports both learners and staff throughout the academic year. The role is working at the Rotherham Campus based in Rotherham Town Centre.

Duties will include:

  • Completing course schedules
  • Taking enquiries from the general public
  • Booking learners onto courses
  • Checking enrolments and course fees
  • Chasing and monitoring student absence in line with the Student Absence & Punctuality Policy
  • Working with academic staff to ensure funding is maximised
  • Inputting timetables onto the College’s information system
  • Arranging meetings and minute-taking at both internal and external meetings
  • Ensuing the coordination of a range of other activities throughout the academic year such as attendance at marketing events.

The successful candidate will need a high level of accuracy, excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines as well as flexible approach to working. Previous experience working in administration within education would be advantageous but not essential.
