We have a great opportunity at Rainsbrook STC to join the education team as a Vocational Trainer in Painting and Decorating on permanent, full time (37hrs per week) basis. The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality vocational training to our learners up to a level 3 standard. This is a challenging but rewarding role and we need someone who is flexible and resilient, with the ability to encourage, engage and motivate, to help give children and young people a brighter future.

Requirements:

  • Have experience in your vocational specialism and the ability to deliver this to learners in an engaging and effective way 
  • Be willing to gain PTTLS within six months
  • Commitment to gain a subject specific qualification to allow you to train to Level 3 within two years
  • Have a commitment to gain an assessor award required by relevant Awarding Bodies within one year
