We have a great opportunity to join our Group Performance and Planning Team as our new Head of Operations - Data Services on a permanent, full-time (37hrs per week) basis.


  • To lead the longer-term strategic development and implementation of a new service-operating model, leading transformational change to ensure the Service is aligned to the current and future Organisational objectives and business unit's strategies. 
  • To lead the review of all current transactional data processes through proactive engagement with the various service user groups to delivers measurable benefits to service users.
  • To lead the stakeholder management for the Data Services Team, developing effective communication routes for key service users.
  • To project manage the delivery of agreed data process improvement projects within specified time-frames.

The role will oversee the medium and longer-term strategic development of the Data Services Team to implement a modernised service offer, delivered through a new operating model which meets the current and future needs of its service users.

In order to do the role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
  • Experience delivering on transformational business change and implementing new ideas and systems across a complex organisation.
  • Experience of leading and managing successful change programmes.
  • Experience of working within the Further and Higher Sector with an in depth knowledge of the data, information, funding systems and processes would be desirable.
