We at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, recently grade "Good" by OFSTED are looking for a Policy and Quality Assurance Officer to join the college in delivering an excellent service. We are looking for an adaptable professional, with experience in quality assurance and policy development and writing.
The Role
Reporting to the College Leader for Quality Improvement & Standards, you will have an eye for detail in order to quality-assure policies and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. You will be tenacious, self-motivated and conscientious, setting a good example for the organisation. You will also play a role in supporting the organisation to achieve its diversity ambitions by developing and embedding a process to assess, monitor and mitigate the equality impact of our policies, projects, decisions and changes. You will also be confident in delivering training and information to a wide range of audiences to articulate the quality framework and its relevance to the college strategy - the West London Way.
The Person
- Experience of working within quality assurance and total quality management systems implementation via policy review and re-drafting is a requirement.
- Experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders ,particularly leaders and managers and preferably some experience of supporting implementation of ISO9001.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and influencing skills, with experience of briefing senior colleagues, alongside supporting them in drafting effective quality policies.
- Proven analytical skills to understand and present complex concepts and to feed into policy and systems development for a whole organisation approach supporting College service areas in particular.

Hours: 37 Hours per week
Tenure: Initially 1 year Fixed Term Contract
