Salary is within the range of £25,183 - £35,088 per annum (FTE) and is dependent on qualifications and experience. Progression within the scale is performance related.

University Centre Croydon is seeking a highly motivated, student-focused lecturer with good administrative skills, to teach on our BA (Hons) Criminology, Psychology & Social Justice programme.

Applicants should have a first degree and post graduate qualification and expertise in Psychology, Social Justice, Criminology or a related field. A background in a related profession would be an advantage.

In addition applicants should have completed, or be working towards, a PGCE/ DTLLS, or equivalent teaching qualification. Candidates should also be able to evidence effective teaching, learning and assessment up to Honours degree level and have successful experience of setting high quality undergraduate assessments. Knowledge of social science programmes, as well as tutoring experience, is preferred.

Good interpersonal skills, a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team, and the ability to provide high quality student support are essential.
