Lecturer - Horticulture (Apprenticeships)
We currently have an opportunity for a lecturer with a Horticulture based qualification to deliver and assess on a range of apprenticeship programmes. This role will include use of the extensive facilities on the College estate including landscaped areas, arboretum, specialist gardens and extensive lawns and a commercially operated garden centre to provide an unrivalled student experience.
The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of Horticulture modules primarily at Level 3 (including Garden Design and Propagation) with the expectation of some assessment of work based learners.
You will possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Horticulture and A1 Assessors Award. In addition you will have a range of industrial experience in horticulture, sports turfs and landscaping. In addition you may also hold a degree in a relevant subject and a Verifiers Award. You will be an adaptable and engaging individual who is naturally organised, with outstanding interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to make a difference.
