High Performance Advisor

Location: Wakefield City Campus (with travel between sites in the district)

To support the College's focus on high-performance, we’re extending our team of High Performance Advisors. Working under the leadership of our Executive Director Quality and Planning, our Advisors use their teaching experience and understanding of excellence to drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment.

Working in a cross-College capacity our Advisors work closely with teachers, managers and leaders to identify where improvements can be secured and then to plan and deliver those improvements.

We’re looking for highly experienced teachers who are passionate about the learning experience and quality of education, and understand the difference between good and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in FE, HE and Apprenticeships.

In addition, you should also demonstrate:

  • A strong track record of delivering continuing professional development to teachers which has resulted in improvement
  • An understanding of the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework
  • An understanding of leading edge theories, including eLearning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
