Ravensbourne is exceptional. A world-class digital destination developing talented individuals and leading edge businesses through learning, skills, applied research, enterprise and innovation.

We are based at Greenwich Peninsula in an iconic building next to The O2. Our aim is to become a portal for talent across London driving growth in the knowledge economy and creative industries.

Ravensbourne is looking to recruit an adaptable, innovative and future thinking lecturer to join our award winning and fast growing Fashion Promotion course.

This exciting sector involves engaging with traditional, digital and emerging technologies and audiences. Key areas within the Fashion Promotion curriculum include fashion marketing, branding, graphics, art direction, moving image, visualisation and social media.

The successful candidate will in this case specialise in delivery of the fashion marketing and fashion market research reports. He/she should have contemporary knowledge of the range of promotional media used to effectively communicate in the area of fashion promotion.

Knowledge of programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Wordpress, Indesign, knowledge of film production and post production, and Final Cut Pro are an advantage on this digital course. He/she will join the team in influencing and developing the course. He/she will have a first degree or post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject, and should be able to demonstrate good, recent professional knowledge and experience (both industry and academic) in the area of Fashion Promotion. The candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, and the ability to engage students directly with their chosen industry will be essential.

Applicants should have the ability to employ creative learning and teaching methods, as well as experience in the area of curriculum development and delivery.

Applicants should be able to start with us immediately.
