Workplace Tutor – Joinery

If you have experience of planning, delivering and assessing apprenticeships in Site and Bench joinery then this may be the job for you.
You should be qualified to deliver in wood occupations/joinery but flexibility to cover other construction disciplines would be advantageous. You should have completed a recognised Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1 or TAQA). An IQA and/or Teaching qualification would be an advantage but is not essential, but you must be willing to work towards.
The role will be focused on intermediate and advanced level programmes. Working as part of our Work Based Learning team your key tasks will include the delivery and assessment of qualifications within Apprenticeship programmes in your selected areas (including Functional Skills). You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations. A driving licence and access to a car is required to enable you to fulfil this role because most of the role will take place at Employer sites across an agreed geographical region.
