Teaching & Learning Coach
We are looking for a first class teaching practitioner to join our in house Quality Improvement team. This is a newly created post designed to further support the development and improvement of teaching and learning practice across the College. Working with the Teaching & Learning Development Manager, you will provide a range of interventions and support activities including the coaching of individuals and groups. You will be an advocate of reflective practice and embrace new learning strategies to help individuals improve their professional practice. A key audience will be those new to teaching and as such you will contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive learning environment where individuals feel confident to trial new methods and provide feedback in a balanced and constructive manner. In addition you will identify and support opportunities to deliver full cost commercial activity and achieve agreed income targets.
You will be a competent and proficient teaching practitioner and able to demonstrate a wide range of successful coaching methodologies. You will be a qualified teacher and ideally have undertaken further study to Masters level or equivalent to enhance your theoretical knowledge and teaching practice. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills you will be capable of quickly building rapport with others and to drive improvements in others. Naturally flexible and responsive to the requirements of your customer group, you will also possess strong organisational skills to enable you to work on multiple projects at once.
