We are looking for candidates that have the relevant industry experience and hold a level 3 qualification in Electrical, the ideal candidate will be strongly knowledgeable in the Electrical and construction industry and able to engage with a wide range of people. You will teach on the level 2 and level 3 Electrical course with a requirement to teach 1 evening per week.
A teaching qualification is not essential, but must be willing to work towards. If you have the skills for this role and want a fresh challenge, then we would like to hear from you.
The college offers a structured induction programme for those new to teaching, you will be paired with an experienced mentor and start on a reduced teaching timetable, gradually increasing as your experience and skills strengthen. You will gain broad experience in a teaching environment from enrolment, to SAR process, to results day. You will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of departments at the college.
In addition to this, we will offer you in depth coaching and the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification.
