Digital Marketing Officer

Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent on site facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

Hours: 37 hours / 52 weeks per year

Duration: 12 month fixed term contract

The College is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, efficient and pro-active individual who is keen to develop their career further within Marketing, specialising in digital channels. Already established in this field, the ideal candidate will be equipped with a blend of creative, technical and analytical skills. You'll develop and deliver innovative and effective targeted promotional campaigns from concept to performance working with a small team within a large business environment.

The successful candidate will be based at our state of the art building near the Huddersfield town centre, with excellent on-site facilities such as a fully equipped gym, hair and beauty facilities at discounted prices and an on-site restaurant.

The purpose of the post will be to strengthen the College’s digital engagement and marketing activity across a broad range of media and to develop the content of the College website using WordPress, working closely with the ILT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for informing the strategies and vision of digital marketing through the undertaking of research analysis and activity evaluation.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C). It is also a requirement of the post to be qualified at degree level, preferably web or marketing related.
