We are looking to appoint 2 enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Learning & Assessment Officers, to work at our state of the art Technology centre.

The purpose of this rewarding role is to provide training, assessment of competence, guidance and support to learners on the College’s Work Based Learning (WBL) programme.

You will be responsible for delivering off the job training and assessment of learners in workshop settings, along with formal classroom based teaching as required.  You will also be required to develop agreed programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of learners, employers and in line with Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements.   

The qualifications deemed essential for this post are Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in subject area,  minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) and an NVQ Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve within 6 months of appointment.
