Deaf Access is part of the Inclusion & Support Services department at Derby College. Deaf Access is a well-established team of highly skilled, experienced CSWs and Sign Language Interpreters who provide communication support to Deaf learners within the College and local community. We also operate an interpreting agency providing interpreting support to Deaf people in Derby and the surrounding areas.
This role is to work proactively in supporting our D/deaf customers to access a range of activities. The role is around employing strategies and procedures that provide inclusive person centred support, thus improving retention and achievement.
