Educational Support Worker
Derby College are recruiting to their "OFSTED Outstanding" Inclusion and Support Team.
We offer a huge range of support to learners across our college on all college sites.
If you're positive, motivated and ready to learn new skills and be a role model we'd love to hear from you.
You will need to work from a Socially Inclusive perspective and be able to apply socially inclusive principles to a range of learners!
We will be recruiting specialist Education Support Workers to support learners in:
ESOL curriculum - ideally you will have ESOL experience, either as a learner or as support in an education setting. We support a range of both 16-18 and 19+ learners to develop their English and maths ability in order to support them to progress into Further Education and work.
Inclusion Curriculum (LLDD Inclusion Curriculum) - you will have an affinity to work with young people (16-24) who have more complex inclusion needs. Our support enables them to access a range of community activities and challenge themselves to learn a variety of skills towards a meaningful adult life.
Education Support Workers - Cross College Support - you will support learners working across all academic levels, we support from Entry Level 3 to Level 4 and above!
Learners access support for a range of Inclusion needs - key areas for 2015/2016 have been support from Dyslexia, Mental Health Difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
