CSA - Carpentry and Joinery

Are you passionate about carpentry and joinery and looking to share your skills with its future workforce? Derby College is looking to recruit a Curriculum Support Assistant (CSA) - Carpentry and Joinery who is flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement.  You will be required to support the teaching of woodwork subjects in a practical workshop environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines, and ensure that this environment is organised, resourced and maintained to an high level. A good understanding of practical woodwork tasks is required along with a desire to enhance learner's practical skills and support teaching staff with their lessons.

This role is a supporting role which requires the successful candidate to assist the Carpentry and Joinery staff during the practical based workshop lesson. It also offers a fantastic insight into teaching and is an excellent platform that can lead to a career in the teaching profession.
