Technology-Enhanced Learning Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Improvement Department at CU Coventry as a Technology Enhanced Learning Specialist.

Working alongside our current Technology Enhanced Learning Specialist, you will manage all aspects of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Moodle, in conjunction with academic and professional staff. In addition to the maintenance and development of the VLE, as a Technology Enhanced Learning Specialist, you will provide staff with training that will help inspire and encourage them to innovate and use technology to its full potential and advise on pedagogic practices and curriculum design for supporting face to face, online and blended learning.

You will also take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of the VLE through various mechanisms such as carrying out internal audits that form part of our Quality Management System (QMS) and lead on technology related projects.

This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual with outstanding IT skills. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team.

You should possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure is essential for this post. 

You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week and this will include some evening and Saturday work. This is a permanent post with a start date of ‘as soon as possible’.
