Agricultural Engineering Lecturers - Trainee
We are currently looking to recruit Agricultural Engineering Lecturers to join the team to start as soon as possible to deliver effective teaching learning and assessment and support to Land Based Service Engineering students. Ideally the successful candidates will hold a Level 4 Higher Diploma in Agricultural Engineering or related subject or a minimum Level 3 qualification or considerable industrial experience. The post-holders will require a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to gain a relevant formal qualification in role. The ideal candidates will be professional, hardworking and confident team players.

Engineering graduates will also be considered as part of a lecturer training development programme. We will look to support the post-holder to begin their teaching career by offering full sponsorship to gain a teaching qualification and will facilitate a reduced teaching load for first two years of the contract. The post of Trainee Lecturer contributes to the positive work of the College in raising aspirations of students, delivering an outstanding learning experience and developing the standards and teaching and learning. The starting salary will be £20,307 per annum in the first year. The salary will increase to £21,739 in the second year, based on satisfactory progress in the role and training development programme.
