An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sport and Service Enterprises curriculum area for a Lecturer in Sport & Uniformed Public Services. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Sport Science and the Fitness Industry and will be able to deliver on a range of BTEC Sport and fitness courses as well as our Foundation degree in Sport and Exercise Science.

With significant teaching experience and a relevant degree in a Sport related subject, we are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer with a good knowledge of sport coaching and/or strength and conditioning would be desirable. Candidates will hold a full teaching qualification and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning.  You will also hold a Level 3 or equivalent Qualification in a Sport related subject and Experience of leading course provision and coordinating IV are preferable together with the ability to appraise courses using a range of quality and performance indicators. You will also hold a level 2 minimum in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
