Working with the Course Leader you will take a lead to develop and implement the successful delivery of the Digital Textiles strand across levels 5 & 6 as a distinct identity, including Module Leadership for a number of Modules. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the enhancement and informed relevancy of the strand to applied industry and commercial needs set against the growing international dimensions of design. You will have the skills or connections to develop appropriate networks for curriculum development, including placements and exhibitions to offer an excellent student experience focused on employability. Working individually and as a leading member of a team you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including workshops, individual tutorials, seminars and lectures with a large audience.

The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of Masters level in a relevant subject, demonstrate experience of teaching at undergraduate level; leadership skills, and have extensive knowledge and expertise of emergent digital technologies and software for Digital Textile Design as a discipline. An ability to contribute to the Critical Studies element of the teaching and learning is desirable.
