Learning Support Assistant

The Role

The Learner Experience Team is seeking to appoint 2 experienced and enthusiastic learning support assistants to provide Maths and English support to learners with a variety of additional needs including dyslexia, physical and learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting learners across the different curriculum areas, including vocational areas. You will have good  interpersonal skills and have an understanding of Specific Learning Difficulties within education and how this can impact on learning.

You must have a qualification in Literacy and Numeracy, at or above Level 2. Some experience of supporting learners with learning difficulties and disabilities would be an advantage.
