Learning Support Tutor

The Role

The Learner Experience Team is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic learning support tutor who can provide Maths and English support to learners with a variety of additional needs including dyslexia and physical difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting learner across the different curriculum areas, including vocational areas. Youy will have good interpersonal skills and have an understanding of Specific Learning Difficulties within education and how this can impact on learning.

You must have a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification. Literacy and Numeracy, at or above Level 2, is also needed. Specialist qualifications would be an advantage.
