We are currently looking for a part-time Maths and English Instructor/Trainer for our Apprenticeship Provision who will support apprenticeship delivery across all curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly in order to meet the requirements of the apprentices and their employers and provide high quality levels of instruction and support.  The main responsibilities for this position include the co-ordination, delivery and progress monitoring of English and Maths teaching, learning and assessment for the apprenticeship programme up to and including Level 2 to a varied client base from 16 years upwards.

For this role a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in English and Maths is required. Candidates should preferably possess some experience of Functional Skills delivery as well as good IT skills. Candidates will have good organisation and communication skills and will be able to manage to their workload efficiently. Suitable candidates should be willing to work towards an accredited teaching qualification if applicable. A full driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential as this role will include travelling to other college sites and visiting employers.
