We are seeking a lecturer / course teacher to cover sickness absence for 18 hours per week, for a minimum of 8 weeks, from September 4th 2017.
Travel and Tourism is a vibrant and highly successful section in our Further Education College. We currently follow the BTEC specifications for both level 2 and level 3 programmes. The department is a Grade 2 area with very good success rates. We would like to build upon this and appoint a dynamic, innovative and student centred lecturer who can maintain this provision.
Lecturers in Travel and Tourism department work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods. The department is well resourced and the team is supportive. Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of work.
