Programme Manager - Agriculture/Animal Care

You will be joining Plumpton College at an exciting time as we begin our next phase of ambitious growth and quality enhancement.  We are looking for an Agriculture/Animal Care Programme Manager to join our team based at Plumpton College at Netherfield.  The successful candidate will join us on a full-time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £29,320 to £33,982 per annum (37 hours per week).

You will deliver high quality, aspirational teaching on our Agricultural programmes which enables students to learn skills which will help them progress both academically and personally.

What we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be an experienced manager able to demonstrate the ability to teach across a range of agricultural and Animal Management subjects and demonstrable experience and understanding of working with young people who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities.  A knowledge of how to deliver outcomes identified in EHCP’s is also desirable.

You should have a degree in a related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or willingness to gain a relevant formal qualification.
