An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher with significant vocational experience to join our team teaching our apprentices and full time learners.
In this role you will teach Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair to our students at Levels 1 - 3 and be familiar with City and Guilds / IMI light vehicle mechanical modules.
A passionate and innovative individual, you will be committed to providing a positive learning experience for our students and will also provide an effective and stimulating learning environment for our students.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a strong commitment to develop the potential of all learners. It is essential that you have experience of training, instructing, or teaching others.
It is essential that you have the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics
- Level 2 Qualification in Maths and English or willingness to work towards with the support of the College
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE/Cert Ed/DTTLS/DET or equivalent or willingness to work towards within two years of starting in employment
It would be ideal for you to have a level 5 teaching qualification, however the College is happy to support the right candidate in moving into a teaching career and gaining two requisite qualifications.
