English Tutor

The International Study Centre at Istituto Marangoni prepares international foundation year students for degree programmes at the school of fashion.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, specialist team committed to developing and delivering high quality support for our students whilst working in conjunction with education professionals and academics.

We are currently seeking an English Tutor to prepare and deliver high quality in sessional seminars and lessons. Ideally you should be an experienced teacher of both English for academic purposes and IELTS with a proven track record of preparing students for English language exams. The role is working within a fashion school and therefore an awareness of fashion and the arts is highly desirable, as is an ability to adapt to working with creative-minded students.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and an adaptability that lends itself to working well both independently and as part of a small team. Applications are welcome from those seeking to develop their teaching practice through working in a unique and unconventional environment.

Teaching hours: 16 - 20 hours per week

Contract: Variable fixed term contract (term time only)
