Lecturer/Course Teacher - Travel and Tourism 0.8 FTE

Travel and Tourism is a vibrant and highly successful section in our Further Education College. We currently follow the BTEC specifications for both level 2 and level 3 programmes. The department is a Grade 2 area with very good success rates. We would like to build upon this and appoint an innovative and student centred lecturer who can motivate and manage this provision.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join a team of experienced Travel and Tourism lecturers.

Lecturers in the Travel and Tourism department work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods. The department is well resourced and the team is supportive. Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of work.

As part of the teaching and enrichment role you will accompany students on visits both locally and overseas
