This post forms part of a programme of development of the College's additional Learning Support provision.
You will provide support for visually and hearing impaired learners across the 3 campuses. You will primarily be working with Visually Impaired learners and you will be competent in supporting a variety of visually impaired learners, both in class and to modify work. Essentially you will be competent in the use of Braille and able to guide students around the campus on programme and in break times. You will have a Sign Language or RNIB Partners in Learning Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification with either a Communications Support Worker qualification or a teaching qualification and previous experience in a similar setting.
