Field Sales Executive NorDec

The role will sit within the colleges Business Development team and provide key sales, key accounts and business development function for the Northern Dental Education Centre.

  • To take a lead role in the account management of dental related employers
  • To ensure that all negotiated sales targets are achieved
  • To maximise levels of repeat business
  • To identify new opportunities for sales and business development
  • To work effectively as part of the overall Employer Engagement Team

Main Responsibilities:

  • To achieve agreed sales targets for the Northern Dental Education Centre
  • To lead on key accounts with employers
  • To undertake sales, business development and marketing activities including employer visits and continue to maintain and update the CRM and all relevant employer records.
  • To research opportunities and plan business activity in order to maximise employer contracts.
  • To offer tailored business solutions to prospective clients.
  • To provide high levels of customer service to prospective and existing customers.
  • To carry out training needs analyses where appropriate
  • To cross sell other elements of college provision to employers where appropriate
  • To liaise with delivery staff to ensure a highly successful employer experience.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Dental Technology – through benchmarking, user groups, publications and events
  • The above are the key responsibilities and tasks that the job holder will normally cover.  However, there may be other functions that the job holder may be asked to perform to allow the whole function to operate effectively.

The post holder will be required to:

  • Undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check for this post.
