At Plumpton College we are currently looking for an Instructor / Technician (Blacksmithing), split 0.5 Instructor and 0.5 Technican, to join the team to start as soon as possible.
What we are looking for
We are looking to recruit an outstanding individual who will support the tutors within the workshop areas and to deliver a small teaching load. The teaching, learning and assessment is to support blacksmithing students that will then maximise their potential and help them make positive progress towards their timely success, future study and employment.
You will be able to inspire and motivate our students and to make a significant contribution to our successful vocational programmes. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification within the vocational area and have industrial experience. The post-holder will require a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to gain a relevant formal qualification in role.
