Salary per annum: £24,054.44 - £30,585.55 for Qualified Lecturers (It is usual for new appointees to commence at the bottom of the scale with progression on an annual incremental basis)

The Department of Education, Early Years and Community Practice at the University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit a full-time member of staff to teach on its PGCE (TLLS) programme.

The successful candidate will have a degree, an appropriate teaching qualification and an appropriate Masters level qualification. Experience of teaching on teacher training programmes in post compulsory education is essential, along with relevant experience of the FE and Life-long Learning sectors.

The post-holder will engage in a range of duties on the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, the Certificate in Education, and the MEd Advancing Professional Practice.

Duties include teaching and assessing on a range of modules, lesson observations, and liaising with programme mentors. In particular, we are seeking applicants with specialist knowledge and experience in the following areas: LLN, e-learning, IED, widening participation and behaviour management, ESOL, literacies. An interest and experience in developing innovative learning and teaching techniques appropriate to the FE and lifelong learning sectors would be a considerable advantage.
