Due to increased student numbers in several subject areas, Plymouth College of Art is seeking to recruit an undergraduate contextual studies lecturer to support and inform the development and delivery of our animation programme. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced creative individual with a passion for teaching the theories, histories and contexts for animators of the future.
You will be an exceptionally motivated and well qualified animator, artist, designer/researcher/theorist/historian. Able to help us realise our ambitious developmental agenda at regional, national and international levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key aspects of the role, together with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students and colleagues. You will also be able to contribute to the development of the programme curriculum and undertake a range of tutorial and pastoral responsibilities as well as supervise undergraduate projects and dissertations.
The role is to take the vision invested in the recent developments at Plymouth College of Art with energy and innovation, along with an emerging team of outstanding higher education staff, to shape the provision into the most dynamic and vital animation programme.
