We are currently recruiting for an Illustration Lecturer to work in our award-winning BA (Hons) Illustration programme, and who will be able to make a positive contribution to the continued development and vision for the programme.   

We are seeking an experienced individual with an in depth knowledge and application of contemporary illustration practice, alongside a demonstrable understanding of learning and teaching in Higher Education. Ideally, applicants should have industry experience and awareness, along with an emerging research profile.  An understanding of delivering innovative learning and teaching in a Higher Education context is also desirable.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of related skills including the use of both traditional and digital media in their own creative practice, alongside an ability to contextualise illustrative practices in a wider context.

Excellent organisation skills and an ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities, alongside a desire to contribute to the wider culture of an independent specialist arts institution.
